Privacy Policy

Our approach

We collect as little personal data as possible. There are no student profiles, no social features, no behavioural advertising and no third-party tracking beyond what is needed to take payment and keep the service secure.

What we collect

Account data: your email address, an age-confirmation timestamp, and your order and subscription history.
Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we store only the payment reference and status.
Enquiry data: details you give us in an invoice request or email.
Marketing data: your email address and consent record if you sign up for release emails or request a free resource.

Why we use it

To provide your account, purchases and secure downloads (contract).
To confirm that purchasers are adults aged 18+ (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
To answer enquiries and issue invoices (contract and legitimate interests).
To send release emails where you have opted in (consent).

Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: our hosting and database provider, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for as long as we must keep financial records. Marketing records are deleted when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw marketing consent, or object to processing. Account deletion is available in your account settings, or email support@aleveledge.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to complete checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.
